Change Through Literature Among Our Youth
After teaching preschool to children from low-income families, Angel had a vision to make a bigger impact outside her classroom walls. She struggled to find her place in the professional world but found joy in creating children's books for fun while thinking of her former students. Today, she sees children's books as a perfect combination of her passion for storytelling, skills in doodling, and background teaching young children. When not working on creative projects, she is advocating for early education and raising a family in the Bay Area.
