Priscilla Azcueta's inspiring story of resilience, perseverance, and positivity is nothing short of remarkable. Born and raised in California, Priscilla is the daughter of a WWII veteran who immigrated from the Philippines and a Native American/Latina mother from New Mexico. With nearly 50 years of experience in employment and HR, Priscilla is a true professional in her field. In 2020, Priscilla received devastating diagnoses of breast cancer and multiple myeloma, yet she continued to work for the VA while undergoing treatments. Her determination and dedication was recognized in 2022 when she won the national Award for Excellence in Compensated Work Therapy-Vocational Rehabilitation Service Delivery. Her story is a powerful reminder of the importance of living with optimism and enthusiasm, the reciprocity of love, and "living to live" even in the face of cancer. Priscilla is a role model, mentor, and heroine whose story will undoubtedly inspire and motivate anyone who hears it.
