In our current political nation, two contrasting narratives emerge: Black Grief and White Grievance.
Black Grief, a touching response to the tragic loss of black lives at the hands of law enforcement, fuels a passionate drive for policy change. 🖤
On the flip side, we have White Grievance.
This is an anticipatory loss, a sense of displacement from the perceived center of US politics, triggered by the shifting demographics of the nation.
It's a narrative steeped in victimhood, resentment, and a desperate attempt to maintain a threatened dominant position.
These two narratives, while not equivalent, are shaping the political landscape of our time. 🌏
