There's no need to be a gifted conversationalist to connect with children.
The key is to be interested in what they say and patient enough to listen to their stories.
By simply engaging with them in conversation, you can build bonds of trust and friendship that will last a lifetime.
Conversation is the simplest way to connect with children. It helps children feel comfortable and confident and allows adults to get to know them better.
Have conversations with children whenever possible, and encourage them to do the same with their peers.
