I remember the first time I stepped foot on the East Coast, leaving behind the familiar bubble of the Bay Area. 🌉
I was a fresh graduate, wide-eyed and eager, yet carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders.
I was stepping into a university-based program, surrounded by eight other brilliant women, each one as eager and as anxious as I was. 🎓
The days were long, filled with classes, research, clinical practice, and homework. The nights were even longer, filled with the echoes of loneliness and the longing for the familiarity of home.
But amidst the grueling routine and the pennies we earned, I realized something. I was not just surviving, I was growing. I was not just learning, I was evolving. 🌱
And that's the beauty of stepping out of your comfort zone, of embracing the unfamiliar. It's terrifying, it's exhausting, but it's also empowering. It's in these moments of struggle that we truly discover our strength.
